Week 2: Organise your wardrobe
Spring clean your wardrobe
It’s the second instalment of our Spring Clean before & afters and we’re focusing on wardrobes! The weather is changing and (finally) it’s time to start thinking about summer accessories. Out with the winter hats and accessories and in with the sunnies! Yes please!
First things first with any Spring clean and that is to get rid of items you no longer wear. Before you can organise your wardrobe pull out any items that you can give to charity or sell, this will make it a whole lot easier to organise and make room for seasonal items. A good old-fashioned Spring clean is the perfect opportunity for a declutter! We’ve got a few great organisational tips to keep your wardrobe ‘Marie-Kondo’ kind of organised!
If you're like us and you’re always misplacing your sunglasses, then creating a designated sunnies area in your wardrobe could be a wise decision! Not only will you always know where to quickly grab a pair from before leaving the house, but you can also ensure they’re safe from scratches.
White Sunglasses Box – Get your summer accessories organised and ready for their come back!
Jewellery & small accessories
Drawers are very easy to get out of hand, out of sight, out of mind and all that! However, they are just as important to maintain. It’s easy to use drawers as a dumping ground for items that don’t have a home but having organised drawers and knowing where items are can save you a whole load of time in the mornings, not to mention keeping jewellery tangle-free and in one place!
Medium Jewellery Slider – Ideal for your small jewellery pieces:
Large Jewellery Slider – Great for larger accessories, such as watches, hair accessories and your summer statement earrings:
Top tip: Little inside hack from the Stackers team – if you already own any of our jewellery boxes or layers you can recreate the same idea with your layers, see image below:
